OK… I’m a fan of these guys, I will try to be the most objective that I can. This is a really GOOD album! Some reasons?. They successfully retained their sound in each of the ten tracks of this work. Old school thrash plus a little bit of punk and a good production makes this CD a heavy (Maybe their heaviest to date) album, with fast tracks and also very tasteful mid-paced tempos.

Lyrics as always are intelligent, like “Blood Of The Martyr” (A very solid opener) that talks about innocent people killed by religion beliefs (Remember David Koresh?). The title track attacks with sharpened guitars, consistent drumming and hook.

The rest of the songs are very GENUINE. I can not imagine a better word. ANIHILATED recorded an album that represent them with tons of honesty. So we have the aggression on “Predator”, “A Cruel Twist Of Fate” only to mention two.

The booklet contains many pictures of fans wearing ANIHILATED t shirts, showing vinyls, etc… These idea show how important is for the band their base of fans (BTW I’m one one picture)

The influences of the band are very evident (Slayer for example and some hardcore), but nowadays I love to listen a band that plays this kind of songs. With passion, credibility, and enthusiasm.

You will be not disappointed. ANIHILATED is back and teaches to the “new school of thrash” how to do it really well.
